How long have you been working at Fibox?
I am starting my ninth year with Fibox. However, before that, I was Fibox's media consultant for 12 years, giving me a 20-year history with the company.
What are your responsibilities as a Director of Marketing in Fibox?
As the Director of Marketing, I am responsible for growing the brand, market, and mindshare of Fibox. This includes advertising and developing marketing strategies and subsequent campaigns, including creating sales enablement tools, marketing content, trade show, and conference participation.
Tell us a little bit more about your mission as a Director of Marketing.
My core mission is to bring attention to the greater value of polycarbonate enclosures compared to metal and fiberglass and how that pertains to helping our clients not only save money but provide their customers a better solution.
What is your favorite thing about the work that you do?
I enjoy the creative challenge of making enclosures fun and exciting.
What do you think is the most important quality that helps you excel at your job?
Thankfully starting with a great product is a tremendous help; my sense of humor and perspective help with the rest.
What would you say is the most important quality of Fibox?
Polycarbonate, otherwise it, is just plastic : D. The people I work with are the reason Fibox is what we are. Yes, I know it is a cliche, but the synergy and exchange of knowledge and perspectives make every day a new one, and that goes for both here and abroad throughout the organization.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I enjoy my time with my family. I enjoy the arts, Improv theatre, photography, and videography, and I am starting a new hobby - beekeeping.
